Soo Yong Lee is the Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of GTONE, which is a leading governance technology software company.

He began his career with Daewoo Corporation in 1982, working as a software engineer for the company until his departure in 1987. From these beginnings, Mr. Lee later held a series of leadership positions within Penta Systems Technology from 1988 to 1997. During this time, he played a key role as a programmer, database administrator, project manager and sales executive director as well. Later, from 1998 to 2007, he became the founding president and Chief Executive Officer of ITPlus, one of the leading public software companies in Korea.

Pertaining to his educational background, Mr. Lee graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from Seoul National University in 1979. He also went on to study Advanced Management Programs at Seoul National University and the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology IT, as well as at the Business School of Executive Education at Columbia University.

With his many business accomplishments, Mr. Lee was awarded the Best of Korea e-Business award in 2001 and the Best Venture Executive award from the International Management Institute in 2002. In 2005, he was awarded the Contribution to Software Industry from the President of Korea.
